lAYA / professional smartass / creative director (art)
Salam/hola…there’s my ethnic clue,
I'm Lia (pronounced La-Ya) Khayami - a foul-mouthed Creative (Art background), obnoxious former New Yorker, currently based in Chicago. I’m known for being a hungry-hungry “culture eater” who thrives on caffeine, click-holes, and making work that’s always fun and occassionally award-winning - whether it’s tapping into music nostalgia, dance hysteria, basketball beef, or just baking some bread puns - I aim to please.
Outside of advertising, you can find me aspiring for cool-mom energy, such as training my kid in the musical teachings of Black Sabbath, knitting with my cats, or playing cute culty games on Nintendo Switch over a glass of Lambrusco. I also curate a monthly playlist for Cult of Sound, n3rd out on anime/murder-murder shows/Knicks Basketball/spicy condiments, and hoard Blueberry biscuits and Nespresso pods for the end of times.
So go ahead, hire me, or at least pay me for being wonderful.
